Health Optimization and Prevention

Health optimization and prevention: As a society we hold the disempowering belief that age related degeneration and chronic disease is inevitable and that once we get to a certain age that we will all be “old”, feeble, senile, and unable to care for ourselves.

These false beliefs that underlie our conventional medical system ignore the tremendous role that preventable factors such as diet, lifestyle, exposure to environmental toxins, and hormonal deficiencies play in the development of chronic disease.    They also ignore the availability of nutritional supplementation and medical treatments that can reverse the aging process. These treatments include: bio-identical hormone replacement/optimization, chelation therapy, fibrinolytic enzyme therapy, and oxidative medicine just to name a few.

I help my patients feel their best through optimal diet, lifestyle, and rejuvenating medical treatments.  Looking and feeling younger is a side effect of being healthier rather than of cosmetic procedures. The time, effort, and money spent in health optimization is an investment whose dividends include quality of life, independence into old age, disease prevention, and ultimately lowered long term care costs.

I believe that the following age related degenerative conditions can be prevented if health optimization is started early enough.  Or these conditions can be slowed down and improved dramatically in cases where the disease process has advanced to the point of being diagnosable by conventional medical standards.  However having optimal health as a goal is not contemplated by our insurance system and requires that the physician take time to use all of his expertise and knowledge to think outside of the box and come up with real solutions for each patient’s unique case:

  • Memory loss and mental decline
  • Back pain
  • Osteoporosis
  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Cancer
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of muscle/skin tone
  • Depression
  • Sleep disturbance
